What Car Can You Use for Your Ontario Road Test?

Drive2Day Driving School blog

The short answer

You need to bring a vehicle to your road test, and it has to be safe and legal to drive. Many people use a family car, but you can also use a car from a driving school. Always check the current vehicle requirements on the DriveTest website before your test date.

What the car generally needs

If the car does not meet the requirements, the examiner can refuse to do the test, and you may lose your booking. That is why it is worth checking the car in advance.
